Quality Instruction Towards Access and Basic Education Improvement 2 (QITABI 2), USAID, Lebanon, May 2019 to present

  • Co-developing with local specialists digital teaching and learning materials for every day of academic school year for English grades 1-6 , public schools in Lebanon. The materials include tips on how to adapt to online, face-to-face, and other distance modalities.

  • Developed the course Learning Texts: Tradition, Authenticity, and Virtuality

      • This course analyzes the role of textbooks in foreign language classes and how new technologies have changed the concept of publishing. Students will identify desirable characteristics of texts for particular teaching situations, become familiar with technologies that can be used in teaching, and design lessons based on alternative texts

  • Created a video-based class series that was implemented into first and second-year Spanish classes for teaching listening comprehension, pronunciation, and culture. These were called Talleres de Habla

  • In 2008, changed the structure of the weekly computer lab for first and second year Spanish classes so that students could attend either in-person or virtually

  • I created the self-paced, computer-based courses of English that were installed on the computers when the University of Talca's Self-Learning Center opened in 2000.

  • Redesigned the language program's website.
